  • The EI of Ai

I've always found Ishiguros's style and perspective on life, love and relationships portrayed in his various novels intruiging yet illumunative at the same time. He does it again, with his AF protagonist Klara. A lovely, lovely read indeed. I'm saying any more will detract from the immense sense of what it means to be alive the book provides. Will surely read it again, though I rarely read a book twice. Klara and the Sun, I surely will.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Boring

Dull, colourles and boring. This book took a long time to go nowhere.

  • Klara and the sun

I didn't enjoy this book. Perhaps it was too cerebral for me or I simply missed the point.

  • Unusual

An unusual story and a character with many clever observations about the people and environment around them.

  • Klara and the Sun

I found the first chapter hard to fathom, but I found that the meaning of the story became more enlightening in the ensuing chapters. It was a fascinating insight into what life on the Earth could become in the future.
