  • Much Better Than Book 10

This book has a lot more plot development than its predecessor. A lot more plotlines become resolved and stuff actually happens. A far more enjoyable read

  • Knife of Dreams

Book 11 of the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan, who has firmly cemented himself as one of the great fantasy writers to date with the creation of this series. The Wheel of Time series has a greater depth of character analysis, motives, plots, subplots, concurrent plots than any other series I've had the pleasure to read. The scope of the societies [plural] and races of people with their attendant foibles, mores, languages, customs etc is breathtaking in both its inception and the implementation of basing the book's world, both physical and spiritual. It is the old tale of good versus evil with the future of the entire fabric of space and time up as the ultimate prize to the victor. Entrenched attitudes versus a renaissance of new approaches to old themes. A revisiting of the age of legends to hopefully revive that which they strive for.... This series is a must read for anyone who is in love with the fantasy genre.
