Just as good 2nd time around

I have come back to reading this series as I love it so much. I really enjoy the closeness of the Brown family and their friends. The characters have a realness to their emotions that I enjoy. I feel the characters are believable and some of the realness is not glossed over ie Ben's dad not approving of the relationship.

    I can’t believe I missed one

Somehow some way with my love of all things Lauren Dane I bought this book and did not read it. I love The Browns and have read everything else multiple times. But I missed Laid Bare. Do not make my mistake. This book is phenomenal! The characters and the flow of the story is amazing. Read It!!!

    Disappointed

I couldn't finish this book, while the story had great potential I couldn't relate to the characters. The way this story was written sometimes had me thinking I was reading the back of a cereal box. Emotionally I couldn't connect with the characters. 10 years ago Todd didn't like that he had Dom tendencies but 10 years later he wants to discover that side of himself with Erin. This is what I don't understand with this story, they finally get back together after ten years and Todd is getting use to his Dom ways and then he invites Ben into the relationship. That not so strange but he had such a hard time excepting that he was into kink. When he invites Ben into the relationship he is turned on by Ben touching him and kissing him while they are with Erin. So what now he is Bi. Todd's character doesn't develop his sexuality he jumps from vanilla to full on erotica to being Bi in one chapter.
