    Last Christmas in Paris

A depiction of life during WW1 as seen through the eyes of an English soldier who writes letters to his best friend's sister who waits back at home for news of the war and her loved ones. What transpires is a beautiful love story told entirely via their letters over the course of four years.

    A story told in letters

A poignant love story set during the first world war. This story is a series of letters written between friends, family and finally lovers. I enjoyed seeing the characters grow and mature throughout the story. They meet numerous challenges along the way while World War 1 is documented. Sadness and happiness share in our and the characters' emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

    Beautiful Endurance of Friendship

The characters in the book 4 friends keep in touch during WW1 by letter. They are so real, I had to Google the book to ensure it is a novel. The book grabbed me on the first page and did not let go til end. Sorry that it is finished.
