  • My poor gay heart

This is one of the first wlw books I’ve ever read, and of course Becky smashed it out of the park. A book about queer teenagers written by a straight adult has never felt this authentic. Seeing myself represented in such an earnest story is a dream come true and I’m just ecstatic that generations of queer kids to come are getting the rep that I didn’t have for a very long time. So yeah read this book if you love yourself

  • 10/10 would recommend

I honestly kind of loved it more than Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Not that I didn't live Simon's story - I just relate to Leah so much more. I love her. And I love this author!!!

  • When you're in love with a character

I'M F***ING IN LOVE WITH LEAH !!! I love her so much, she's so... Cynical, funny, dramatic, queer... PERFECT !! I love this ending so happy and awesome. I can now let go with those characters even if I'm going to miss them... So farwell Leah, Simon, Bram, Nick and Abby. I'll miss you but I'm so in love with this end so that's okay.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Wow this is amazing >.<

Leah on the off beat is great read particularly if you found yourseli love with the characters in Simon and the homosapiens (read simon before leah because leah contains spoilers on simon). Leah on the off beat is fantastic book with an even better ending!

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Amazing

This book gives the cynical teenage girl shine in a genuine, gorgeous way. Leah is a relatable and honest depiction of a not so skinny girl in this modern world.
