Leo, Book 9 of the Zodiac Killers Saga...

Wow! They’ve gone & done it again. It’s another winner!!! Ali & Lexy have teamed up to give us intriguing stories that are part of a twelve book series. I’ve been hooked on this series since the very first book & I’m so looking forward to reading the remaining few. If you’re looking for an amazing series, then the Zodiac Killers is it. The storyline flows from book to book & Leo is no exception. There are so many twists & turns, ups & downs, it’s like riding a never-ending rollercoaster. The characters are life-like, so much so that you forget this is fiction. Be sure to use your “one-click” purchase button & add the first eight books to your personal library. I highly recommend you read this series in the order it was released in, I guarantee you won’t regret it. I received an Advance Review Copy (Arc) of this new release & I am voluntarily giving my honest review.

    leo book 9

i read this book as part of an arc program. In book 9 of the Zodiac Killers series, Bay is still looking for Mia and thinking the killer got her. Darek has to question Ken Sin after he hit Lizzie and their supervisor sent her away fro a few days. Darek asks Carter to come to New York to help him question Sin to see if he knows anything more about the killer. Justin was found dead and Bay learns there is a will and Brandy is going to be very wealthy. Bay sees an opportunity there. Carter is a preacher who is known for his womanizing ways and since he was owed money from Justin, he wants Brandy to pay it, and then some. Carter is being questioned by the church elders about his spending and rumors about other women, so he wants more money to pay everyone off and start over. When Carter goes to Bay to ask to go with him to see Brandy, Bay has to wonder why. I love this series and the more i read, the more i think i have it figured out, but there are always more twists to change that. This series will keep you guessing and wondering who is going to live and who will die next. I can't wait for the next book.

    The Series Continues

This series is Amazing! It continues to twist and turn and leave you on the edge of your seat. If you like suspense, this is it in spades. This story is the Leo story which is focused on Carter, who fits all the cliches about "man of god". He's slimy, out for himself and always on the look for another "Give to Carter" need. His followers are getting tired of his ways and tightening the purse strings but Carter has another play. We've got murder, mayhem and a twisty turning story that will keep you guessing. You DO need to start at the beginning. I think if I had picked it up here, I'd miss so many nuances. And a warning: Every time you think you know what's going on -- you'll be wrong! Highly recommended!! (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

    The Zodiac Murders Leo

I am annoyed at this series of books. The plot line is excellent. The devious characters are at the very least interesting...I am almost finished the series....I of course want to see the killer caught. My problem is that there are 13 books...these coud easily have been pared down to 5 or 6. They are like novellas not novels. Th amount of gratuitous sex takes up pages and pages. It is like soft porn and sometimes not that soft. By the 3rd or 4th time in reading the sex scenes it got boring and I skipped the pages. Descriptions of sex acts was not what I thought I was buying. I thought I was buying a series of novels on a mysterious serial killer. THat is not the case. I think this was a money grab. Yes....its a deal buying on Kobo but in the end I will have ended up spending $86+ on a series that shouldn't have cost more than at the very most $30 or $40...kind of a RIP off dont you think lady authors...good marketing/scam. The stories are good without the sex...you cheapened your writing. Sorry.

More twists and turns than a rollercoaster

I voluntarily reviewed this ARC. Wow, this series just gets better and better. Fantastic characters and plot, plus the usual high standard of writing. This book focuses on Carter, a man of the cloth who is a liar and a cheat, and very dislikable. Darek and Lizzy’s relationship is growing stronger, though a run in with Raven leaves Lizzy feeling vulnerable and Darek on the back foot. Finally, what is up with Max??!!! So many questions that I just can’t wait for the next book. A fantastic, fast-paced read...I think I need a lie down!! If you haven’t started this series give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
