  • Lie with me

To review "Lie with me" in a few sentences is difficult, particularly as one does not want to give away the plot. The development of the central character from just being slightly inadequate to the end point he ultimately reaches, needs writing of great skill, as of course the other main characters need to evolve too. It is a thriller of an unusual kind. There is no originating crime; therefore no suspect. There are deaths that are not initially suspicious and a final long convoluted twisted slow and beautifully developed end.

  • Lie with me

The book has got a slow action. Funny writing but page after page doesn't reveal any more information what the story is all about... A bit boring.

  • Lots of twists

Over all a really good read. Lots of unexpected twists and I was trying to find extra time to finish it by the end.

  • Boring

Found every character in this book, especially Paul, to be so obnoxious that I really couldn't have cared less what happened to any of them. I struggled to get to the end as it didn't interest or grab me in any way and I would certainly never want to re-read it.

  • Lie With Me

Who would have imagined that a seemingly harmless lie would have such a shocking impact! The manipulator becomes the manipulated; unaware until it is far too late and any witnesses suddenly remember events completely differently. Quite a complex plot, tightly written. Gripping, troubling and unputdownable - a must read!
