I was really lucky to be able to beta read this amazing book by Alyssa. Many times I have started my review for Alyssa's book just be mentioning her name and enough was said. And I really want to do it again. There is no book from ARI that disappointed me. I'm not saying that all of her books are marked 5 stars by me but majority is. Alyssa is simply a genius. It doesn't matter what genre she is picking, she always amaze me with her story and flawless writing. And here was no different. The book is her newest contemporary story. I haven't read a contemporary book by her in a long time. And I craved a new contemporary story from her. In here we meet Cassidy. 27 year old attorney for an insurance company. It seems she has everything a young woman can dream off. Job and a fiance. But we don't meet her during exciting time of planning a wedding. No. We meet her when she is knocking on her parents door, jobless and fiance-less. Why? Cause she had enough of everything. Enough of a job she was feeling that changed her into a heartless person. Enough of a relationship when her man loved someone else. Enough of the person she became. She decided to go back home to find herself and also an old tape. A tape that was supposed to remind her who she is. On her journey she meets Leo. Mysterious, funny, snarky and lost man, who lost his reason to live. From a simple purchase of an old cassette player and a journey to fix the tape a relationship is born. Firstly a friendship and later something more. Something that none of them expected. I loved this book. It's not an ugly crier but I cried anyway. Alyssa has created a really realistic story. A story that happens more often than people would like to admit. Cassidy and Leo will make you laugh almost on every page. Their sense of humor is different. They are being snarky to each other but also understand each other in ways that other people can't. That's why I love their relationship so much. Alyssa has again created a master piece that deserved 5 heavenly stars! <3

Boring. Slow start and dull ending. No excitement. Glad to finish it.
