  • Life At The Coffin Joint

This book was written about life in Deadwood, South Dakota in 1876. Jack Rabbit and Boone have been best friends since childhood and were raised by a man they call Uncle Mort and he is missing. They face some very special challenges while looking for Uncle Mort and one of them is lots of snow and I love the female undertaker.

  • Fantastic fun read

Woohoo, an all-new series from Ann Charles, author of the award-winning Deadwood Mystery series, and this time she has help from Sam Lucky, (AKA Hubby :-) ) These two have conspired, Um, collaborated, to take us back to the beginning, back when Deadwood was new and slaying ghosties and ghouls was just beginning in the Old West. With the backdrop of the old west, they created some great characters, like Clementine Johanssen, a tall short fuse and hot-tempered undertaker hired to clean up this new town. Oh, and let's not forget a couple of Santa Fe sidewinders, Rabbit and Boone, a couple of cowboys you are going to fall instantly in love with who will have you in stitches as they fall in with Clementine to find out exactly what happened to their uncle. Add to this mix of unlikely characters, Hank Varney, Clemintine's helper, a man who is a lot more then he seems. This story is peppered with some historical facts and a lot of fantastic fiction and will have you glued to your seat as you flip through the pages! Five Stars Ann and Sam, and I can't wait for more!
