Lizzy Goes Brains over Braun is a new age romance story. "Older" woman so wrapped up in working and keeping her business going that she forgets that maybe she wants a family. Minus the husband part. While hanging out with her friends Lizzy starts talking about how she might have missed her time of becoming a mother, but even if she hasn't she has no time for romance and a husband. So being funny her friends take out an ad in the newspaper. In comes Braun. Braun is a nerdy wonderfully written character. I actually liked Braun at times more than Lizzy. He is quirky and fun to read when you want to smack Lizzy for her choices. While reading this story I don't see Braun wanting a family, or Lizzy at any time until later on. That part was enjoyable. It was nice to read a book that had two grown adults enjoying their lives, sex, and conversation. Each knew what they wanted and had no hidden agenda. But while they were getting to know each other emotions did come to the surface. Jasinda wrote a great story and I can't wait to see what is next.

  • Lizzy and Braun

Just a really warm, sweet, and oddly realistic story.

  • Cheesy, predictable and dull

I was hoping for a good read, however, was left disappointed. The story line was cheesy, predictable and dull. The characters were generally shallow and unlikeable. I read every page up to the half way mark of the book and then just skimmed the rest.

    Thanks for your feedback!
