  • As always, a good read

Piccoult is the master of secrets and moral dilemmas. Luke, a passionate wolf expert is lying comatose in hospital after a vehicle accident. The doctors claim he will not recover and decisions need to be made, but who will make them, the estranged son who left 6 years ago and thinks his father would not wish to continue this way and would wish to donate his organs , or the daughter passionately clinging to hope of a miracle while racked with guilt because she believes she was the cause of the accident. As in all Piccoult novels we see that the truth is subjective, with many shades of grey and that ultimately we can never truly know another's innermost thoughts and motivations.

    Thanks for your feedback!
