Decent story but the many errors of grade-school simple grammar and punctuation are irritating. It is not that hard to get get commas, tense, plural/singular right or to eliminate gross redundancy or use complete sentences. If all you care about is plot this is engaging though predictable. If you like to read the English language this book will frustrate you

  • Parthia Won't Let Him Rest

Pacorus's saga is nearing its end. He has been more places than he could have imagined as Prince of Hatra, and done more - and lost more - than he could have dreamed. And still he cannot rest, with fools and ungrateful kings and enemies plotting, all of whom are keen to reach for him as if he was the Ultimate Weapon. He goes into war when called by a relative, then discovers "scope creep" and manages, due to his efforts with the Sons of the Citadel, to get home when others do not. Is anyone willing to bet that the world will leave him be? Or the gods, for that matter? I have truly enjoyed this series, and Lord of War is no exception.
