  • Great book - I'll read more by this author

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, and resented every time I had to put it down. Keely Glendower is banished from the only home she has known in Wales by her stepfather shortly after her mother Megan’s death. On her deathbed, her mother, a Druid, bade Keely to find her father, an English Duke. Megan tells Keely who to trust and to give her heart to – but like all good soothsayers, gives hints and prophecy’s, but no actual names. Accompanied by her cousins who are determined to protect her, Keely sets out to find her sire. Not quite as simple a task as she had hoped, she finds herself in London. Can a practicing Druid fit into Elizabethan England and find happiness? Perhaps she can, with support from her loved ones, but she and they must also solve the riddle of who is wishing them harm. While it’s listed as fourth in Patricia Grasso’s Deveraux series, it stood very well by itself – I want to know more about the various characters, but never felt I was missing anything. Great story with good humorous touches. I’ll be reading more of Ms. Grasso’s stories!

    Thanks for your feedback!
