  • A historical novel

This lovely story is set in Scotland. While a goldsmith is away from her stall at the market, her mother's heirloom gift is sold to an autocratic titled woman by accident. Without it, the goldmith can't prove her noble birthright. After trying to explain the mistake and refunding the spoilt, influencial client, Florrie flees with it, running for her life. A deeply romantic and very exciting story ensues, when a young man of Viking descent, who is a huntsman, accidentally shoots her in her leg with his arrow, wounding her very seriously. Unable to walk, in desperation, she allows him to tend her wound. Superior grammar, spelling and story line, together with outstandingly beautiful descriptions of intimate moments between them, make this a wonderfully memorable story. Thank you Glynnis Campbell!

  • Macfarlands lass

I nice book, easy to read. Felt a bit of a rush to its end in the last few chapters but worth a read.

Another enjoyable read from Glynnis how does she come up with the constant plots, she has a wonderful imagination, the only thing i have to complain about is the length of the love scenes.

  • McFarlands Lass

The author has a way of telling a tale. Her characters are fascinating. They’re well thought out and the plot has enough twists to keep it page a page turner.
