    Griffin!

The Shacking Up series is back! I have loved getting to know this family, everything about them is fun and I end up having a new favorite couple with each story. Cosy and Griffin are no different and their story is seriously perfection. Everything about these two is amazing. They are an unlikely couple, but that made me love them even more.Their meeting is unusual, but it totally fits them. Everything about these two says "opposite" but that is what made them even more unique. Griffin's determination to make Cosy's his had me swooning. Griffin and Cosy seriously needed each other, they just didn't realize it. I loved getting back to the Mills family. I was just what I needed to get out of my book funk!

Love the world that Ms. Hunting creates!

Another stellar story by the amazing Helena Hunting. Set in the amazing Shaking Up world this is Griffin's story.  I have been so looking forward to his!! I am a sucker for the strong, silent type and he fits the bill fabulously! Griffin and Cosy are a magnetic couple, even with the bit of unorthodox mixed in for fun. A bit of the prince and the pauper and a bit of an age gap but nothing creepy or "squicky". I was amazed and humored by Cosy.  Her age was not a hinderance at all.  She was mature beyond her years and she was feisty and fun as she should be at her age.  It was the perfect blend. Oh Griffin, Ms. Hunting never fails to make me swoon with her hero's.  Just when I think she can't beat her last hero, she gives more and makes a man even more imperfectly perfect than before. Griffin and Cosy's story is going to keep you turning the pages until the end and then wish it wasn't over.  Their story isn't all hearts and flowers...it's real and bumpy and oh so just wowza! Get your hands on this fantastic story! You will thank me later!

    Quirky Love ❤️

Cosy is as quirky as her name suggests. Griffin is looking for something different in life. This is a fun story of opposites who find that they are perfect for each other. The two have to spend real time together getting to know each other. They go through some hilarious scenes and some ups and downs before they realize how much their differences don’t matter. The author does a good job of bringing the characters to life, telling their stories, showing their pains and joy. You will enjoy turning the pages as you experience the highs and lows as the story unfolds.

A perfect addition to the 'Shacking' family.

Making Up by Helena Hunting was a fun, flirty, light-hearted romp, through the world of high-class hotels and sex toy stores. Not something you’d expect to come in contact with one another but in this quirky romance it sure does. Griffin Mills has been tasked with the craziest bachelor party job ever, as far as he’s concerned. When he meets Cosy in the most unlikely of places, he’s drawn to her exuberance and pure unadulterated confidence. Cosy dreams of travelling the world, not just the US as she works part-time towards her degree, while working in a store she’d never imagined herself in, but needs must and it’s not every day a gorgeous man in an expensive suit appears in her store. He’s a bit lost and kinda needy too. She’s intrigued by him though and finds herself fixating on him. Griffin is totally genuine, sweet and as he admits himself, he has no game. But, he does have a huge heart of gold, a caring side and just wants the kind of loving relationship his parents have. He just needs to find the right girl. These two are outrageously funny together, they have a spitfire banter, sexual chemistry that could rival the Sun with its heat and they are just the perfect match. I loved them both. The secondary characters were fun, both old and new… well most. Some needed a smack. But, thankfully they didn’t detract from the overall fabulous story. This was the fifth in the ‘Shacking Up’ series, but it can easily be read as a standalone.

    3.5 - Easy, fun read!

3.5 Stars With an age gap to deal with and an unusual occupation for the heroine, Making Up was a fun, easy read that had humor, heart, and heat and had two great characters that deserved to find their happily ever after. I liked both Griffin and Cosy and thought they were perfect for each other despite the age difference and where they were in their lives. There was definite chemistry between them right from the start, and once they finally get involved these two had some serious heat between them. I did think there was a bit too much drama between them and really didn’t like the issue that involved Cosy’s sister, but I did think that the characters easily moved past some of the issues without causing an angst overload, so I was still routing for their HEA all the way through. I haven’t read Helena Hunting before and really liked her writing style and found this book very easy to read. I liked the secondary characters and am curious now to go back and read the other books in this series – Griffin’s family seems quite interesting and I’m sure there are some great stories there!
