    Thanks for your feedback!

Readers have been waiting a long time for this book and maybe we should have waited a little longer. This story, of Matt, the youngest Redstone, did not live up to the rest of the series. I don't know if the problem is the character, Morgan, or Matt, but something bothered me throughout the book. Many scenes of Morgan's internal monologue felt repetitive and boring. I could swear entire passages were copied and repeated relentlessly. The conflict between Matt and Morgan was not believable and resolved too quickly, leaving the main plot about Elspeth to take over. Maybe it's me, but I'm tired of the Destroyer of Worlds subplot. Too much smoke, not enough fire. It's been teased and mentioned in so many of the books with nothing ever happening that, frankly, I'm over it. Maybe it's the delays between books? I doing know. One thing I do know? I'm done with this series.
