    The musician

I was not a great fan of Elton John Now that I have read the book and now that I have seen him performed in Melbourne I have a lot of respect for the musician he and his band are. Reading the book brings you slowly to understand the person he is. He is a good heart. The multiple foundation he is supporting show his good boy side. The way he has overcome his addiction to drugs and alcoholism show that he knows what he did wrong. He bounced back and he helped his friends to overcome their addiction. He loves his children Being gay was not easy at his time on earth and the book indicates disturbing situation about his relationship with his many partners. I wish him a long life. More music please Elton....

Elton John's Amazing Life, Warts and All

An honest and frank, and also utterly hilarious, autobiography by Elton John. From his childhood as Reg Dwight in Pinner to his amazing career as a rock star. It's a roller coaster ride with brutal honesty but with a good dose of humanity. Highly recommended.

    Easy and enlightening read

This is a refreshingly honest account of the journey from anonymity to fame ...with vivid descriptions of all of the ups and downs along the way. As a lifelong fan, I found it riveting and revelatory in a most positive way. Great job man xx

    A true showman

This is a great follow up to the film “Rocketman”, in Elton’s own words and language, about where he came from, and what he went through to achieve stardom.
