  • Excellent book

Good strong characters, great introduction to India’s customs, food, culture, religions and relationships between other religions. Well written and I would recommend this novel for Book Club.

  • Enjoyable But Slow Moving

I enjoyed the characters in this book and learning about the Indian society. The book was moving and sensitively written although I did find it a little slow moving and felt the writer could have shortened the story and revealed the conclusion a lot earlier. Sometimes it felt like going around in circles which was for me a little frustrating. I have other books to read by this author but feel I need to read something different first.

    Thanks for your feedback!
