    A Visual Aphrodisiac

Monster Wrestling: Interspecies Combat Girls, Vol. 1 delivers on all that you would expect from its synopsis and cover. Tyataniyou and Ganmarei waste no time getting their buxom brawlers into sticky situations and creatively keep it going throughout the whole volume. Tyataniyou’s story is sadly not as developed as Tirol and Kayla’s busts, but I imagine it will mature as later volumes are released. Tyataniyou manages to create some emotional investment in Tirol’s backstory and development as a wrestler, but mainly supports the cast of hefty bosoms with a variety of lewd scenes. In regard to the art, Ganmarei’s thin framed girls are bursting at the seams in all the right places, each one dripping with sensuality. Ganmarie does a great job of using each wrestling match to show the monster girls in cleverly contorted positions from revealing angles. Occasionally, the girls’ chimera anatomy is visually obtuse, but the reader is quickly brought back in with varying lewd expressions from Tirol and her opponents. I would recommend this book towards young men because it panders to our “more base desires”, in the words of Kayla, without the often negative themes of hentai. With all that being said, I can’t wait for volume two! I wish Ganmarei, Tyataniyou, and Takeo Aoki the best of luck with their new series and I encourage you to give this manga a shot! It won’t disappoint!
