A truly awesome read! Very well written with amazing characters who are complex and intriguing. Dane and Julia just felt right for each other throughout the story! Dane Harrison is rich, powerful, and Julia's new boss. After looking all over NYC for a singer to perform in his new luxury hotel Dane knows he found the right person as soon as he hears Julia sing. Although he has a strict no dating employees rule, well he is the boss and Julia might be worth breaking all his rules. Convincing Julia of that may be a little tricky though. Julia hasn't had an easy life. She wants nothing to do with rich, powerful men like Dane Harrison. Been there, done that, has the emotional scars to prove it. Resisting him may prove to be too difficult though. So what's wrong with a little no strings fun. When Dane starts hinting at wanting something more though, Julia knows she's in a world of trouble. This is one I highly recommend!

    Pleasantly Surprised

This is my first Jennifer Gracen book and it’s actually been sitting in my Kindle forever; I’m so happy I got around to it because I really enjoyed this one! I loved Dane and he was probably my favorite part of the book. I’m a bit over (b/m)illionaire romances because the heroes are usually arrogant, alpha-holes but Dane was a very nice surprise. Dane is naturally charming without being sleazy and he might have tons of money but he still treats everyone equally. He’s immediately attracted to Julia but he doesn’t act like it’s a done deal just because women can’t resist him; he respects that Julia is an employee and when it’s clear that they can’t stay away from each other he’s a still a gentleman about it. The way he cares for Julia is so beautiful to see because it helps create the actual romance in the story. Dane’s also really laid back and a guy that enjoys life so he was very pleasant to read. I really liked how confident in her own skin Julia was; she still had trust issues and was conflicted over her growing feelings toward Dane but in terms of her casual relationship with him she was confident and strong. Julia is 41 years old so she knows what she wants in life and she goes after it. She figured it wasn’t a good idea to sleep with her boss but once she realized her attraction was mutual she didn’t waffle and agonize over being with Dane. It was nice to see a woman really take control of her love life and do what she wants because she wants it. I loved how Dane also reveled in Julia’s experience and confidence and he was never bothered by Julia’s strength or desires. I completely understand why Julia doesn’t trust men, she’s been terribly betrayed not once but twice and that would make trust hard for anyone. But sometimes I just wanted her to open her eyes, look at how sweet Dane was treating her and realize that he was a great guy. So occasionally she annoyed me but the more sympathetic side of me completely understands. I liked both of Dane’s siblings, Charles and Tessa, and I was happy to see a good relationship between them. So often family series are about how the siblings don’t get along so this was a nice change. Even the wayward brother, Pierce, wasn’t this enemy to his siblings, they just weren’t close.

Jennifer Gracen is an author to watch.

Jennifer Gracen is an author to watch. The versatility of her stories blended with her writing style and heartwarming characters it is easy to fall in love. An ARC of More Than You Know was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Dane and Julia come from different backgrounds. Dane's focused determination has made him a successful business man. His wealth and business acumen far exceed anything he ever expected, but is everything he hoped for. Julia has seen and experienced a life that has not been an easy one and has learned some heartbreaking lessons along the way. I like the premise of the story and this author has the great ability to dig into the emotions not easily faced. More Than You Know is a story that is as sweet as it is complicated.
