    Mossy reek Mystery

I loved the story, the haracters were well thought out and the ending was a suprise. I did think that it was a little drawn out, but not enough to not make the book interesting..I love the characters terms Maggie a wonderful end of her struggling g to make it in a man's world and provide good her strength and wit,and the man of her dreams. Also realizing he respect Ted her and loved her too.. Wonderful mystery, great reading and a great ending . I would recommend it to anyone.

    Complete Trash

Maggie is the telephone operator who believes that she knows better than her boss, the Sheriff. She doesn't; although he allows her to get away with everything because he fancies her!!! Maggie is arrogant, follows the case without referring to her boss, believes she is more qualified and talks to him as though she were in charge. Despite the fact that he allows her to get away with feeling she knows best it is clear to all that Maggie should stick to her day job and leave the police work to those who know what they are doing. There were so many cringe worthy moments in this story, not least the scene where Maggie interviewed the barely 18 year-olds by peppering her interview with so many um 'like' comments, I felt that I would scream if I read another one... Er, like, like, you know, like. Coz, like, he, like, etc;. Believe me, it read like a badly written teen novel. I am amazed that there is a follow-up novel. Clearly, free books appeal to anyone.

Not overly excited but will her second book a try.

I liked the book but found the author spent more time on the romance than the actual details of solving the murder.
