  • A crazy, sexy, adventure

This was a romp, a fun, twisty, mad-capped romp, and I grinned, or fanned myself, through it all! We start with our smart-mouthed heroine giving her captors, er, protectors, a hard time. She wants them to give her a hard time, but they aren't biting with what's she is offering. This sets the stage for their courtship, she wants them, they resist her, except when they don't, and then nobody can figure out what is going on One thing they can all agree on, and everybody else in the book agrees on, is that Brenda dives straight into trouble. Always, anywhere, anytime, and in the most safe and innocuous situations, she will find and dive into trouble. Mike, Dale, and Sebastian are forever tracking her down, and trying to keep her safe. Sexy times are sprinkled around in the book, but once it happens, boy, it happens in a big way. In the end, the boys learn to share, and Brenda finally gets all the love she has known her whole life she deserves, and that made for an even happier ever after after all!

  • Fun Crazy Romp

Mr. Peabody’s House - Eve Langlais (Werewolves, Vampires and Demons, Oh My Book 2) A very fun paranormal mystery romp with a sassy un-filtered heroine looking to break the case of a possessed house. In the process of upsetting everyone while getting into trouble with her persistent investigation into a case she was told to stay away from (Brenda doesn’t respond well to boundaries ). Supernatural authorities taking on the challenging job of keeping an eye on Brenda. They can’t decide if their exasperation at trying to keep her in check and safe is stronger than their attraction to the free willed, wild woman. The three sexy males are close friends who happen to be paranormal themselves are awesome each with their own special vibe. When they realize they all desire the crazy female, Brenda takes that as a very hot and sex sign. Although Brenda was funny, wild, and uncontrollable, I found her a bit too much at times, and even for one of this author’s heroines a bit over the top. Her main motivation seems to be to break the boredom in her job no matter how many she puts at risk including herself, in search of excitement. Gave the book four stars, it is a fun interesting exciting read with some hot sexy parts to add to the enjoyment.

  • Hot hot hot

Brenda is loud, honest and constantly on the go. She also has a knack for getting herself into trouble, a lot. When three werewolves kidnap her “for her own safety” she thinks it’s her lucky day. Mike, Sebastian and Dale get more then they bargain for with the little spitfire they’re charged with protecting. As well as a good dose of jealousy when they’re all interested in her. I absolutely adored this book. It was a fun read, I giggled along with Brenda and her antics, I felt her pain and her disappointment. These four were a blast to read and I absolutely did not want to finish their story. A reverse harem that would be every girls dream, to be so spoilt and pampered and loved all the time. Throw in some demons possessions, a possessed house and a few uppity wizards and you’ve got yourself a story that will keep you enthralled from start through to finish.

  • Terrific fun and snarkiness

I love this series from Eve. Brenda is cute, sweet, ballsy and unabashedly loudly confident she can do anything. But, she is hiding a secret....and I adore her for it. Her werewolf "protectors" (more like eye candy crushes) are at a loss with what to do with her....besides attempt to curb her headstrong gusto for investigating things she shouldn't...with rope and cuffs. (and not the fun kind either) But, after much excitement and misunderstandings....also people trying to eat her....again...not in the fun way....things settle down. There is an appearance by Brenda's beloved Meemaw, who shakes things up. Brenda is doing her best to train her boys, now that they are "getting along". I wish she could be my best friend...sigh. I can't wait for more of this series.

  • Brenda and the Big Bad Wolves

Brenda’s feeling a little lost now that Chloe has found her hunky werewolf and vampire mates. Sure she can tell a good tale about her exploits, but what about finding someone to stick around for the long haul – or at least the morning after? As usual, Brenda’s mouth runneth over. She does not feel the need to watch her words, and says exactly what she means. For her own protection, she is guarded (held captive, in her mind) by three werewolf best friends. But despite her best efforts, she leaves without any sexy times, and doesn’t hear a peep from any of them. Good riddance if they can’t see what a good catch she is! Her job is boring, and she longs for excitement. She jumps at the chance to dig into Mr. Peabody’s file. He is convinced that his house is possessed, and that it ate the priest he had brought in to exorcise it. After trying to burn the evil out of the house (and his family), he comes to the attention of the supernatural authorities. Enter Brenda – who lacks the ability to take care with her risks, three werewolves who each want her, Mrs. Peabody with her cookies, demons galore, and we have a recipe for chaos and the happily ever after she deserves. I really like how the book is mainly from Brenda’s point of view, but alternates so we see inside the minds of Dale, Mike, and Sebastian. From their annoyance to their attraction to Brenda, and desire to figure out what is targeting her and why. Can they share? The tax breaks for reverse harems are pretty significant, but will they be able to put aside their jealousy so they can all get the girl?
