  • Senior Murder

The Golden Oldies Games are being held in Wildwood Cove and the senior athletes have arrived. When an athlete is lost overboard on his yacht and a journalist is murdered, Marley McKinney can’t help but wonder what happened in her quaint town. As if planning her wedding and running her restaurant, the Flip Side, isn’t enough for her, she adds sleuthing to the to do list. When them murderer thinks Marley is too close to discovering them, they push Marley into the road and she is hit by a cyclist. While deterred for a few days, Marley can’t help herself and continues to look for the murderer. Will Marley make it down the aisle or will she be the murderer’s next victim? This is the first book I have read in this series and it works fine as a stand alone. The setting is serene and you can almost hear the surf and smell the salt air. I will be reading more in this series.

  • Much Ado About Nutmeg

Marley is running a pancake house, planning her wedding, and dealing with an influx of customers because the Golden Oldie Games are in town. Then a reporter with a lot of enemies is murdered, and Marley starts investigating. This is a good mystery with some twists and turns. It is book six in a series, but can be read as a stand-alone novel. The book moves slowly at times. Although it was a good cozy mystery, I was not interested enough in the characters to want to go back and read the other five books. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4. I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley and the publishers. My review is voluntary.

  • Much Ado About Nutmeg!

This was a great cozy mystery with a plethora of suspects and a wealth of suspenseful moments. I felt the beginning was a little slow, but the pace picked up towards the middle of the book. I loved the romance subplot, it made me want to keep reading. I received an advanced reader's copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

  • Good cozy series

Book 6 in an interesting cozy series. Wildwood Cove is hosting Golden Oldies Games and the influx of visitors has Marley McKinney's The Flip Side pancake house extra busy. When bodies wash up Marley has to investigate in order to keep an eye out for a young waitress, Sienna.. The competitors bring their old grudges with them and not everyone is as sweet as they appear to be. Toss in Marley's upcoming wedding plans and this cozy sets a fast pace to a happy ending. Recipes from the Flip Side are included (and look delicious). I volunteered to read an ARC from Lyrical Press (Kensington) through Net Galley.

  • Solid Cozy!

I just love Marley and the gang in Wildwood Cove. This latest installment was a doozy of a mystery with multiple twists and turns and a surprise conclusion. I really enjoyed this mystery. It had a good plot and no shortage of suspects which kept me guessing throughout the read. Looking forward to more adventures at the Pancake House. I received this book from NetGalley and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
