    Wonderful

Filled me with longing while exposing cracks ithe facade of our identity. This book changed the way I understand country.

    Excellent book

Lucashenko continues to impress me. This book was gut wrenching and interesting, and I love the descriptions of australian land and aboriginal culture. I liked the characters and their different dynamics, and the plot was satisfyingly written. The ending felt just a little rushed, but not to the point it was disappointing.

    Rubbish

A grossly overrated book showing little or no understanding of the complexity of Aboriginal culture and written in a cliche-ridden style of wincing coziness. To be avoided.
