  • MurderAudit

An enjoyable story with a likeable lead character. The story was pacy enough to keep me interested without having to resort to characters making ridiculous decisions to move the story along. I got this book for free but would consider buying more in the series if the price was right.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Research!

I have read a lot of books set in Canada, but never one in Calgary. I was excited when I started reading this novel because of its setting. Most authors, when writing about cities they don’t reside in, research that city. They visit, or at the very least read about it and look at maps. Ms.. Cornish obviously didn’t. Landscape, area names, and even area codes were so far off reality. Using a Toronto area code for a Calgary police service number shows Ms. Cornish didn’t care at all. I was unable to finish reading the book because of the incredible inaccuracies. My hope is this author will be more diligent when writing additional books in this series. But I won’t be reading them.

    Thanks for your feedback!
