  • Found my new book boyfriend!

I’m not quite sure how she does it, but Erin Nicholas writes characters that keep getting hotter and hotter, particularly male leads! How can you not love a sexy, alpha man who meets a woman on Mardi Gras, spends a few hours (and a few smoking hot kisses) with...and then waits for a year to (hopefully) see again a year later!? Where does a girl find that guy, because that is the one; the alpha who isn’t afraid to be the beta for the right girl. Josh and Tori are such a great match! I love her boldness in tracking down Josh when their meet-up turns into not only a miss, but an oops when Tori accidentally kisses her best friend (and the groom of said wedding!), mistaking him for Josh! And the fact that Josh is so open and excited that not only did she come back, but that she didn’t forget him either! Que the sighs, ladies! Josh’s over-the-top family provides a ton of laughs and heart to this read, while Tori’s bff Andrew and his high-maintenance, spoiled fiancé Pailey add enough drama that I wanted to throw my dreaded across the room! Super hot, super sweet and all around fantastic...I can’t gush enough about this first Boys of the Bayou book!

  • Josh’s family is fantastic!

This is book one in the Boys of the Bayou series and it features Josh and Tori. These two have explosive chemistry and it shows when they’re alone together but add Andrew to the mix and the chemistry just gets all mixed up and shoved to the side. Even her normal quirky and fun personality changes when she’s around Andrew, which was VERY irritating. Needless to say, neither Tori nor Andrew made the list of characters that I liked even a little. Josh is totally amazing! He’s sexy, charming and is not afraid to admit that he’s been popular with the ladies in the past. His family is equally amazing. I mean who wouldn’t want a grandma like Ellie? I’m definitely looking forward to the next book by this fabulous author.

  • A fun, flirty, steamy read, enjoy at your leisure.

My Best Friend’s Mardi Gras Wedding by Erin Nicholas was my first book by this author, it’s also the first book in the ‘Boys Of the Bayou’ series and I was captivated from the very start. It’s funny, witty and had some truly swoon worthy moments. Josh Landry is one hot bartender from Louisiana who met the girl of his dreams one year ago, but after one night together, she left, promising to come back in twelve months if they were both still single. Victoria Kramer isn’t just still single, she’s in trouble and needs help getting herself out of the boiling waters of doubt she kinda threw herself in. She needs a hero, and who better for the job than the man from her secret night of passion last year. Josh is more than up for the job, he’ll let Tori do whatever she wants as long as he gets to keep her for himself at the end of it all. Grab yourself a copy today!!

  • Absolutely Fantastic!!!

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author through Booksprout, in exchange for an honest review. Erin Nicholas has outdone herself with this book! I have at least 20 of her books under my (literary) belt and I must say that this one was by far my absolute favorite!!! It is a spin off from her Boys of the Big Easy series that is its own starter book of the Boys of the Bayou series! This is an absolute must read! Tori is a hoot! She made me laugh so much! I wanted to punch Paisley and Andrew but everything works out perfect in the end! And let me tell you, the end is nothing like you would expect!

  • My Best Friend’s Mardi Gras Wedding

I enjoyed this book. At first, I was upset that Tori let her father and her best friend have so much control over her. When she finally took control, I was cheering. She finally found what she needed, someone to except her for who she was.
