    An excellent read

Absolutely loved it and enjoyed the deliberate parallels drawn with Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Raises questions concerning the importance of fact and whether there ever is "one truth" or many.

Carey's My Life As A Fake

Interesting to again be reminded of The Ern Mallory hoax which shocked the world of poetry in Australia. I would have liked to see more poetry but this doesn't detract. I preferred Carey's book Amnesia but you can't be brilliant every time - a fascinating book showing again why Carey is Australia's greatest writer since Patrick White - enjoy
