  • Existing work, edited and contextualized

This is a bunch of RBG's existing writing and speeches, but edited and organized by her biographers into a few coherent themes. I most enjoyed reading some of her earliest writing. You can see that she had good instincts for clarity from a very young age. She has a very different style between writing intended to be spoken and writing intended to be read. Other highlights were her thoughts on comparative law and the role of dissents. The context that her biographers write in between RBG's pieces is sometimes repetitive and overly complex, but it's easy to skim over.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • My Own Words: Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Astoundingly indepth historically and legally. I found much encouragement within its pages.
