  • My Train to Freedom

Informative. Alot of the detention camps I had not heard of before. I will be looking them up. It really makes you stop and think about the world we live in.

  • Train to freedom

What a story Ivan had to tell. Starting with his boyhood in Czechoslovakia then on a kindertransport train to England prior to the beginning of world war 11. The author was one of the lucky few European Jews to survive along with his parents and older brother. His life was a whirlwind of different schools and colleges searching for that vocation that he could attribute the reason that he was spared. He was an ardent supporter of social justice and human rights and worked tirelessly in various roles within the community. All in all a truly remarkable human being who touched the heart and souls of many. A great book worth reading.
