  • Amazing book

I just finished read 'Neurotribes' by Steve Silberman. I don't usually read non-fiction (I think I like the escape of One reason I think this book is so readable is that Steve Silberman is a journalist and, while he does not have a medical background, he is able to use his investigative skills to shine a light on a huge issue. The very fact that he had little experience of Autism before writing this book means that he is approaching it without prejudice. Read this book if you are interested in social history. Read this book if you are interested in the history and development of psychology. Read this book if you want to better understand the whole Autism-vaccination story. Read this book if you want to better understand the contributions of Autistic people to the world. Read this book if you want to better understand what the world can be like for Autistic people. Above all: READ THIS BOOK!

  • NEUROTRIBES

A very well argued case for redefoning the nature of autism, the spetrum and what it means to be fully human.
