  • Vigilance

I knew that there were Jews who fought in the underground but did not know the full extent of their involvement. l can't say that I loved it. As a former solder, a parent and as an indigenous man I find war and genocide vicerally disturbing. However, we must remain vigilant; especially in this time of upheaval when genocidists again walk the the earth. Rest in peace Bernard. Thank you Ken.

  • Story of bravery

This is a story of bravery and dedicated courage to a just cause. I hope the world's population will never need to face the horrors the Jews witnessed during World War 2.

  • quite good

I really enjoyed reading this book and would have given it ten out of ten except for the remark Bernard made about not liking the English. All through the book he preaches about loving everybody of all races then makes a stupid remark like that, what did the English do to him. Maybe he really forgot what happened to him during the war, I am sure his tormentors were NOT English.

    Thanks for your feedback!
