  • Never Tempt a Scot: Brodie and Lydia

This book has everything I wanted: a handsome Scottish rogue, a lovely but overlooked English lady, mistaken identity, menacing highwaymen, a sardonic bestie, and many miles driven across England and Scotland. And that's just the first half! Brodie is stubborn and wounded, while Lydia is pragmatic and kind. When a selfish sibling's plan backfires, they find themselves looking out for one another. Full of suspense and intrigue, from physical danger as they raced across the countryside, to worrying whether Brodie and Lydia could work past their difficulties to find true happiness, NTaS made my pulse race and my heart swoon. Absolutely recommend!

  • Never temp a Scot

Loved it. A well written tail . Lots of twist and turns. From a spoilt brat who wants our hero to be hers. Regardless of weather he feels the same. To our heroine being kidnapped by our Hero. And a mad dash to Scotland. Everyone chasing everyone else.. Where they all meet up at a lovely Scottish Castle just of Edinburgh . The duel between 2 very angry stubborn men is averted. The course of true love never runs smoothe but sense finally prevales and a so called secret engagement become reality..

  • What a romance should be

I enjoyed many different aspects of this love story. The characters were very well written and the twists and turns of the story were entertaining. There were tears for some of the problems encountered and that is sign of success for me along with smiles for a happy ending.

  • Great addition to the series.

The League of Rogues is one of my favourite series and I especially enjoyed in this book that we got to revisit a number of the League members and their spouses. The plot has many twists and turns and there is a possibility for multiple happily ever afters for the characters. Will Lydia, an oft ignored daughter heading for the shelf in the marital stakes, be one of the happily ever afters? Things do not start well for Lydia when she is abducted by the Scottish rogue Brodie Kincaid due to a case of mistaken identity. I loved Lydia’s deportment during all of her trials and the romance that was eventually developed but I found Brodie’s attitude somewhat troublesome. So long as you can get past his slow awakening you will find this a welcome addition to the series. I definitely appreciated the author’s addition of historical facts and her picturesque settings. I so hope that some of the other characters featured in this book, especially Rafe, Aiden and Lysandra, get their own stories in future books.
