  • Night Broken

You know when you want to punch someone in the face because a) they are just annoying and b) they get on your last nerve and c) they just aren't a nice person. Well, this is how I feel about Adam's ex Chrissy who this book is sort of based around! Chrissy makes a phone call to Adam saying that she is in trouble and if she can come 'home', which Adam lets her do, much to both mine and Mercy's annoyance and then the drama begins. I love Mercy's character as she is definitely a better person than I would be if an ex-wife showed up at my door and tried to take up where she left off. We also find out that (of course) Chrissy hasn't told the whole truth about why she's in danger or from what and when you do = mind blown. Think epic God of the Earth. The battle scene is amazing as is the chapter leading up to it which will make you binge read until the end of the book! Again, this was another fast paced read and there are some truly heartbreaking moment (before the battle) and there are some moment where you want to shake some people i.e. Adam and his response to Chrissy. But through it all you have Mercy who is fighting right/left and center with everyone, from Gods, to Fae to the vampires, all who make an appearance in this books. I especially like seeing more of previous characters and finding out what they have been up too and it was nice seeing Stefan again. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Bring it!

  • Mercy & Adam have lost the plot.

I have lost all respect for Adam and mercy. Adam allows his pack to treat her like dirt & Mercy bites her tongue and lets it happen. I loved mercy as a character, now i can't stand her doormat tendencies.

    Thanks for your feedback!
