    Ruby’s finale

This book wraps up the Frostblood saga and actually does it in style. This finale puts Ruby through the mill but as she discovers a strength that’s pretty staggering I’m guessing that fans of this series will be hollering with delight. This author did bring a triangle into these books with Ruby torn between the Frost King and the Prince of the Fire throne ( who is technically her betrothed) so I’m not sure if the outcome will please all as let’s face it everyone usually picks who they think the heroine should end up with. I will state that I agree with Ruby’s choice although at times I did get Twilight flashbacks as even though Ruby is fully onboard to go ahem that step further the object of her affection kept backing off. Ok so it’s time for Ruby to finally discover where the seat of the Minax powers come from and unfortunately in this world you just never quite know what the Gods have planned. I actually wasn’t that impressed by the Gods and thought they were childish, insensitive and very difficult for this reader to like. That being said this was very entertaining no matter how irritated I got at times as the characters seemed to get sidetracked. This series is definitely worth reading if you enjoy young fantasy but I must warn you that the heroine Ruby never has it easy. This voluntary take is of an advance copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair
