This is a sweet story with likeable, interesting characters. Bridget and Maddox are so perfect for each other. The premise is relatable to and believable, the author did an excellent job of pulling me into the book; I was so caught up in the story that I read it through the night. Now I have to grab the next one, cause I really want to know what's in the letter...although I have my own ideas...can't wait to see if I'm right or wrong...

When you start a book that brings you in right away that's how it started for me. Every spared minute I had was spent on this book. I felt I was living in the story as a cheerleader for this courageous young woman. I knew she had to find her own life cheerleader.

  • My heart is full!

I just finished this book by Kate Aster. Bridget has inherited an old inn from her aunt. She quits her job as a lawyer, commits to renovating and reopening her inn, something she’s compelled to do since meeting her aunt when she was going to college and fell in love with the idea and the place. On a stormy night the front door opens and in walks Maddox, you could say an answer to her dreams. He needs a place to stay and all accommodations are booked for Commisioning Week in this waterfront town. There is a lot of story packed into book, well worth the read.
