  • Short but sweet

I generally prefer the longer books to short stories as I read very quickly and they are over way too soon. I did really enjoy this book though and was glad that Maggie was able to help Rebecca to move forward with her life and get a better understanding of herself.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Slipping through the cracks

Unable to sleep the other night I opened Not to Blame and read it in one sitting (well, laying actually!) It was sad that Rebecca had slipped through the cracks all her life, getting to 16 before anyone realized what her 'disability' was. I think this story was written when knowledge of children with challenges such as hers was only just being explored. I hope as it becomes more widely recognised, more children will get the help they need.

  • Heartwarming

I am in awe of those who care for disadvantage children. Maggie you made it sound easier than it must be and I thank you for letting me into your world. A book that should be read and discussed in Englush class at school.

    Thanks for your feedback!
