  • Highly Recommend!!!

I received a ARC for my honest opinion. So, I'll like to begin with, if you be ever read any of Anna's books, you'll know that you're definitely getting your money's worth. I have yet to read a book that is not a favorite by Anna. Obsession mine is intense, sexy, and sweet. Can I please have a Peter?!! If you were one of those that wonders about Peter's upbringing, read this book. You feel bad for the guy and understands why he is the way he is. Sara is strong and smart heroine. I love how the heroines in Anna's books are strong females and I think Sara is my favorite of all. This book is a must read, but make sure you read the first one for this one to make sense. So, get comfy and have a great read!!

  • Loved every single minute of this story

Peter and Sara's story continues in Obsession Mine as it delves deeper into their troublesome situation. Peter is determined to keep Sara, even if that means locking her away all to himself and Sara is determined to continue to guard her heart. Just when I thought this book could not possibly get any better, it goes and gets better. Never have I been so involved in a book EVER! It's twisted and dark but it's also so touching and emotional. It wrecked my feelings and had me emotionally confused more times than I could count. One minute I want to just hate Peter but it's simply not possible because more times than not I found my heart breaking for the two of them instead, for different reasons of course. And the ending!!!! It has me pulling out my hair with the need to know MORE! I can't wait for the next book to see what's to come off all of this. I could type on and on about this book but I don't want to give away any spoilers. But just know that this book will put you on an emotional roller coaster, so hang on tight.  I reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

  • Darkly attractive and fascinating!

Completely fabulous and unstoppable! Sara and Peter’s impossible romance continues in Book 2 of the Tormentor Mine Series. Do we have one true love? Do you believe in soulmates? What if fate played tricks with us and love wasn’t easy? Or fair? Or meant to be? What if it was twisted and wrong? These are some of the questions that floated through my mind as I read Anna Zaires’ latest amazing story in her Twist Me world. Peter Sokolov, the lethal assassin-for-hire, has finally kidnapped Dr. Sara Cobakis, a woman he had been paradoxically tormenting, pampering, and worshipping for months. Now that he has stolen her from her family, friends, career, and purpose, how can he keep her happy? How can he make her love him? I have referred to Anna Zaires as the Queen of Captive Romance and this story reaffirms my conviction. What amazes me is her insightful ability to insert us into the minds of her most conflicted characters. She never asks her reader to simply accept the difficult romance on faith. Doesn’t rely on our suspension of disbelief. She meets each challenge head on: Peter killed Sara’s husband. Peter is an internationally hunted fugitive. Peter is a cold-blooded killer. Peter has stolen Sara’s freedom. Check, check, check, and check. We are there with Sara as she dissects each impossibility in her mind and questions her own sanity. But then, why not love this mysterious, intensely masculine, utterly devoted suitor? If we, the reader, cannot look away and are seduced by Peter’s dominating competence, his tender thoughtfulness, his tragic background, and his ruthless sense of justice, then why can’t Sara fall for him? We know we want it. So does she. In a hypothetical world, if this detail or that circumstance were different, could Sara really have a happily-ever-after with Peter? This push and pull between Sara and Peter, both the tender love and the heart-breaking denial, is absolutely fascinating to witness. In addition to Anna’s soul-searching exploration of romantic devotion we are treated to the obligatory escape attempt, a carnal punishment, steamy nights of passion, dangerous mercenary missions, and cameo appearances from favourite Twist Me characters. Obsession Mine lives up to her tradition of suspense, undeniable love, deep empathy, and elegant writing. It also ends with a pulse-popping promise that will leave her fans desperate for the third instalment, Destiny Mine!

  • I received ARC in exchange of an honest review

Anna Zaires never fails to blow my mind! since reading Twist me series i became one of her fans I loved every word of this book , it's was so worth waiting her writing is always flawless and unique. Obsession mine start exactly where Tormentor Mine ends up , Peter drugging Sara and kidnapping her so he literally took her choices away . Sara of course doesn't accept her new life which I really liked and she started struggling and having an inner war with herself resisting and denying her true feeling for Peter she just can't get over the fact that he killed her husband just like he can't forget the role that George had play in his family massacre , so she tried to distance herself and create some barriers between them and fight the physical attraction but Peter knows no boundaries . The dynamic was fantastic , There was some serious chemistry there and so much sexual tension! that will bring you strong and raw emotions that'll leave you feeling more intrigued . in the end I was slapped with that cliffhanger. the ending just made me more excited to see what will happen in the next book . if you loved Twist Me, and Capture Me, I know you're going to enjoy this.
