  • Love Oak Grove

I love visiting Oak Grove, and this was no exception. The story starts out with a friends with benefits until there is an unplanned pregnancy. Maggie thinks she can do it all by herself, she has no plans on marrying Michael. Michael has different ideas he wants it all, marriage and a new baby. Loved how Michael would not give up on Maggie but when she needed her space, he gave it to her. It was fun to see how Maggie changed through out the story. A great addition to the Oak Grove stories, can be read as a stand alone.

  • Can 2 headstrong people compromise?

We got to meet this couple in book 3 of the series. Honestly at first I didn't really care for them as a couple because Margaret frustrated me. Loved Michael. I did like how the author developed both characters and showed how much they grew individually and as a couple. Margaret grew on me and Michael just made me love him more.

  • Best book of the series!

** I received a free ARC of this book, and I chose to provide this review. All opinions are my own. ** As with the previous books in this series, the author did not disappoint. One Last Objection is the story of Michael Bennett and Dr. Margaret James. Margaret has issues from her childhood that make her believe she doesn't want to get married, but Michael has other plans for her. I loved the determination and patience Michael showed, and I enjoyed watching Margaret soften to him. One Last Objection was my favorite Oak Grove book - I LOVED it! From there beginning, I was interested in the characters, and I loved how the author developed them throughout the story. This was one of those books that I read in an afternoon, because I didn't want to put it down. I love when a book catches me that way, and One Last Objection did not disappoint.

    Thanks for your feedback!
