  • Realization and Love Only Need a Moment!

Third installment to "The McCormicks" by Elena Aitken is wonderful and sweet. One More Moment continues the journey of the McCormick siblings finding love and overcoming issues. This story is about the carefree and debonair model Cal McCormick. He is striving to spread his wings and become an actor. The TV show about his brother and sister-in-law (Ian and Gwen, Book #1, Love In The Moment) is the perfect launching pad for a up-and-comer. However, this thoughtful and sensitive guy never thought he would find love as well. Milena Hill has battled many hardships and has finally built up her self-esteem. She has put in a lot of hard work and self reflection into the process and has come out well on the other side. However, things can still be a challenge. Love the confidence this girl starts exuding and Cal is not immune. The chemistry that Cal and Milena developed as slow burn and it was nice to see the banter. However, it seemed a little rush but they did have their sweet moments later on. Meeting the previous couples and the family again was a treat. Chelsea had a limited role but it was nice to get to know Declan briefly. The introduction of the matriarch, Maureen was a nice touch. Also, Milena's father and Estelle were a great support to Milena. Their interaction along with the Milena's girlfriends was a great way to empower the female protagonist. I wish the story was a little a longer but overall I enjoyed it and it was lighter than the first two books. If you are looking for a sweet romance where a heroine realizes her strength and a hero who is supportive, this is a great read!

  • Perfect Brain Candy Read

I was lucky to receive an advanced readers copy of this book. I have read all of Elena Aitken's books to date and thoroughly enjoyed them; this one is no different. The romance in the novel is beautifully written and easy to read. This is the perfect book for the beach or light reading. It stands alone yet ties into all to Aitken's other books.

  • Sweet Love Story

As I read this series in order, one thing is clear. When the McCormick men fall in love, they fall deep and they fall fast.  Cal and Milena's story is nothing short of sweet with a little bit of spice thrown in.  I really enjoyed their relationship and  how it developed.  The family dynamic is also fun to read.  The McCormicks  really have each other's  back.  Milena is a great character who is finding her self confidence after struggling with weight issues and a terrible past relationship.  The scenes  between her and her father are so heartwarming.  Cal is a sweetheart who has challenges  of his own with a venomous ex girlfriend, who also happens to be his co star on the new tv show they are starring in.  Cal and Milena's  relationship is truly tested , but in the end love and family conquer all.  This has been my favorite story so far in the series.

  • Romantic continuation to the series

One More Moment is a great continuation to The McCormicks series. Finally we get to see the movie of Mr Summer shaping up. It is quite a genius idea to cast Cal as Ian. After all, who could play his brother better than him? It is quite surprising though that a pretty famous model such as Cal yearns to settle down, especially when 2 of his brothers have already found their loves. And it is even more surprising that Cal would fall for Milena, a woman with self esteem issues. I really loved the ending of this story. It was really touching and romantic.

  • A beautifully written romance book

I have read all the books about the McCormick brothers and Elena Aitken didn't disappoint with Cal's book. Cal has come back from Australia to star in Mr. Summer. Milena Hill is a realtor and. Cedar Springs local. Can a relationship work with an up and coming star and someone with esteem issues? This was a beautifully written story about learning to love yourself and accept the things you can't change. Cal was willing to show Milena what was most important to him and he did it in a spectacular fashion. I recommend this and all the other books in this series to everyone looking for some terrific romance reads.
