    Well written, a great story.

This was a great story, continuing on with the characters from Orphan Sisters. Well written and kept me interested enough to finish it in 2 days. Book - 1; Housework - 0.

    Our last goodbye

A wonderful sequel. May is such a strong beautiful character who affects other people’s lives. The story may be fiction but the events through WW2 are very real. I hope there could be one more story to make it a trilogy. Just a thought. A fabulous read!

    Brilliantly written

Loved this book. Read Orphan Sister first, this book was the follow up. The author writes and makes you visualise the characters in your head. Hard to put down as you cannot wait to see what happens next. Looking forward to more books by Shirley Dickson.
