    Quite fascinating!

This is the first book I've read that gives a fairly plausible explanation for success. The studies are very interesting, particularly those that went unpublished because of their unorthodox conclusions. While I believe that background and being in the right place at the right time makes a difference, I am also a firm believer in the strength of individual will: a person is not necessarily/fatally bound by his circumstances. This book may appear to say that unseen forces and/or unacknowledged circumstances inevitably lead to success or otherwise. However, in my view the author's observations are that certain circumstances are given far less attention than they deserve when assessing a person's success - far more emphasis is placed on luck, destiny or "being born with it" and far less attention is paid to the plain old hard work that really made it happen!

Awesome way of looking at the world

One of the most charismatic way to explain greatness. This book gives a glimpse on what make some people just "better" but with a twist: it hints you how to do it yourself.

    A fantastic read

The book is well researched and the conclusions drawn present a valid explanation of outliers in real life. Candid, well articulated and very engaging.

    Interesting

I found this book really interesting. So many great stories presented that served to highlight how these people became successful.
