    Thanks for your feedback!

Enjoyed it but had some issues

"They were two ships sailing in opposite directions, having met for a short time in the middle of a voyage, and he could no sooner "keep her" than capture the wind." Passenger sounded like a unique and exhilarating read jam packed with time travel and epic adventures. Unfortunately, I didn't exactly get what I was hoping for. I feel torn with this book as some parts I thoroughly enjoyed, and other bits felt tedious and lacking. I found this book quite difficult to get into at first, the beginning dragged with unnecessary detailed descriptions. I had to set the book down and come back and reread the beginning again. Although the writing was exquisite at times, there were some parts that felt tiresome. I started to get intrigued when the time travel "set sail" (pun intended). But the book didn't consistently capture my attention. One chapter I was hooked and the next I was uninterested. There was also this strange detachment I felt at times, as I couldn't truely relate to the story or characters. I did however enjoy the romance and the African American love interest. I considerably liked Etta and Nicholas as characters. Overall it was a good read, however I don't think I will be continuing the duology and reading Wayfarer. But I still want to read Alexandra Bracken's The Darkest Minds, hopefully I'll enjoy it more than Passenger :)
