    Thanks for your feedback!

    Beautifully written but very sad.

The story focusses on Harry and Miles who live with their violent abalone fisherman father. Joe, the eldest son has escaped, initially living with his Grandfather and now planning to sail off in the boat he built leaving Miles to bear the brunt of his father's fury with the world, protecting his youngest brother as best he can. There are moments of happiness in this book, but through it all is this sense of dark foreboding. Just what happened to Uncle Nick, what happened the night of their mother's death in a car accident?

    Deep waters

A poignant tale of family violence, love and deep affection. The seas and bays of coastal Tasmania pulse with life and with tragedy.

    Past the shall0ws

Nice read, i liked the mother mystery althougg there is a fine balance between readim between the lines and leaving a few more facts. Perhaps prologue in a next prinrun would work? this would better explain the bond between brothers and fathers inner rage. Great stuff, cold even be longer with more character development and scenic desciptinas doesnt t adequately cover the violence of this part of the world.

    The sea, the sea

Beautifully written, three brothers and the Tasmanian coastline. Family and fear, grief and love.
