  • Presumed Guilty

What a great short story. Although I have already read all the Jefferson Winter series, this was so fabulous as I have that added history to the beginnings. Great start. Enjoyable reading.

Nail biting suspense till the end. I wouldnt expect less from James Carol, love his work. Cant wait for the next book.

  • Early Winter

James Carol manages the tricky task of visiting his series character protagonist, Jefferson Winter, in his early years here in this fast-paced decently long novella without making him too unbelievable or ruining the vaidity and character of the older version of Winter in his fine thriller novels. (Lee Child take note.) A prequel that work.
