  • Dead Hollow

Really enjoyed reading this book. Judy maintains the suspense creating believable characters. Her descriptions of place/geography are well crafted therefore easy to imagine.

  • Suspend disbelief and enjoy the ride!

Ok, here's the deal. This is a fantasy but a very close to home fantasy. If you're willing to drop your disbelief about what constitutes reality, you will love this series! I came to this series after I finished the Sydney Brenner mysteries and I loved them both! Judy K. is one heckuva (careful with your language!) great writer. Her descriptions really bring you into the scenery and her characters come alive with flesh and blood and so much more. In this book, the first of the Dead Hollow trilogy, you are introduced to some of the main characters. Others emerge in the final 2 books and that's the way it should be. Just enough to tell a thrilling, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat-story and whet your appetite for more. I loved it!

    Thanks for your feedback!
