  • Witches and their spells

This is an updated story of Spellbound. Witches don’t get enough book time in my opinion! Serena needs Luis, so she summons him. Luis doesn’t want to help Serena, but theY make a bargain. Great banter back and forth, and plenty of steam!

  • Scorching!

Luis is very powerful and feared by many. He could end Serena's life in the blink of an eye. He definitely wants to consumer her, just not in the way she thinks. Serena is desperate and she's willing to call the devil himself to save her coven. Luis may not be the devil but he's as close as they come, and she wasn't expecting to be so drawn to him. I love this authors anti-heroes. They have that dark intensity that I love and they are very protective of the heroines. You get the dark and dangerous without the bad treatment. My favorite. This was a fun novella!

  • Three and a half

Three and a half This originally appeared in the anthology Everlasting Bad Boys although the author has stated that this is an updated version. Serena is a Witch in trouble as she and her Coven are being targeted by someone powerful enough to bind and potentially steal their magic. Desperate she turns to the dark side and summons a Soul Hunter but his payment isn't exactly what Serena expected ! Ok I will be blunt and say whilst this was easy to read and actually we jump straight into the story which I liked for some reason I just didn't particularly connect with Serena. I'm honestly not sure what was missing because she has a history and backstory that meant I should have had more empathy for her but I just found her lacking. That being said I really liked Luis, the Soul Hunter and thought his background made him a very believable bad guy who wanted to do good. I particularly liked reading about his abilities and actually would have enjoyed a longer book about someone who had his amazing powers . There is a lot of saucy moments here so if you are looking for a passionate couple with incendiary chemistry then this story will definitely fulfil that requirement. This was most assuredly a quick, hot read and I'm over the moon that the author is now able to revisit her paranormal back catalogue. This voluntary take is of an advanced copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair
