  • Interesting book

It is very important to write books like this one. History is written by men about men - amidst the background of silence of women. The roles and contributions of women to the social change and history are significant. Thus, books must be written. I liked the book, though at times it was a bit confusing to read about the six women, in particular the ones with similar sounding names. The only correction I feel must be made here - women back in the beginning of XX century were not denied political and economic rights because of their gender. But because of their sex. Back then the term gender was not used. Sex was the basis of women's exclusion. Stating such would be historically correct.

    Thanks for your feedback!
