  • Who's the rag? Who becomes witches?

The title is an interesting play on Rags to Riches. It's obvious from the description early in the book that Cen is the rags. By the end of the book is she rich? Is she a witch? (See is a witch, the question is does she act like one and use her talents?) You need to read the book to find the answer to these (maybe) and there are a lot of twists and turns on the way.

  • Great fun!

situational-humor, verbal-humor, mob, family-dynamics, farce, mystery, audiobook -------- If you like your mysteries full of laughs, twists, and characters who really are, you'll love this one as much as I do! Without going all spoiler, there's the 18 hour drive to Vegas with a lunatic driving a large RV, the crazy Aunt Pearl who is a witch without filters, Cen dropping the casket at a mob funeral. Recapping the plot wouldn't really be capable of doing justice to the humor or the truly imaginative plot twists, besides, you wouldn't believe me anyway. I was lucky enough to receive a free copy in a giveaway.

  • A fun family of witches!

This second book in the series had me laughing out loud. Bursting with the zany antics of a family of witches, the twists and turns were unpredictable and quite hilarious. The character descriptions were so vivid -- I could clearly imagine them chatting and moving about as they tried to solve the mystery. A fun story that cozy mystery readers will definitely enjoy!

  • Fun story

I really enjoyed the novel. This is the second book in the series and it was a good mystery. I was totally surprised by the turn of events, and the antics of aunt Pearl. Although you do want to shake her from time to time.
