  • Oho, what/who are you on about now?

Record of a Spaceborn Few did not grab my attention the way the first couple of books did. Maybe the main character was not as closely drawn?, it was difficult to find a main character?

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A warm hug in the form of a vast universe.

Becky creates a beautifully nuanced universe that is thought provoking whilst being extremely comfortable. I enjoyed every chapter of this story, and it made me feel happy. The title is surprisingly accurate as you really do follow a spaceborn few. You almost immediately feel a fondness for the characters and become deeply invested in their lives. Whilst I didn't want this book to end, I feel that it ended very well.

  • Again

Too short. I feel homesick again after finishing another of her books.

  • Culture, history, and life

A superb future history of our species in space and what might happen when we get there. The culture of the Fleet comes across as so real you may just book your next trip there, and each character has their own compelling story to tell. A beautiful addition to the Wayfarers books.

  • Depth and fun told in a great story

This is a book that explores identity through character. Interweaving stories that build on the universe that Becky Chambers has created in her previous books lead you on a Journey to explore what we each value. No big space battles or dramatic action but plenty of growth and movement. A perfect lazy afternoon read.
