  • Enjoyable Read

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them greatly. This was a sweet story - definitely appropriate for Hallmark. Jocelyn comes home to help her grandmother with her Living Museum after she suffers a broken leg. Her childhood sweetheart, Mack, still lives at the farm and is now the caretaker. They have to work together to figure out how to come up with the funding needed to keep the museum open. In typical Hallmark fashion, there is of course a HEA but until then, the reader is left guessing whether Jocelyn will stay in Colorado or go back home to her job and the promotion that she has been working so hard for.

  • A beautiful second chance romance

Have you ever thought what it would be like to live on a ranch in the early 1900’s? Rescuing Harmony Ranch by Jennie Marts is a charming romance novel which takes place on a working ranch in Colorado . Visitors to the ranch are educated in what it was like to live and work on a ranch during the early 20th century. Jocelyn grew up on this ranch and loved it. Her mother, wishing to give Jocelyn more opportunities in life, moved Jocelyn with her to New York for her remaining high school education. She’s loved her time in New York and has a promising career in marketing. Indeed, she is up for a big promotion. But family trumps everything so when Jocelyn’s Grandmother has an accident and needs her help, she drops everything to be by her side. She can work remotely while on the ranch and still be able to help her Grandmother. When she arrives, she learns from her Grandmother that the help she needs is in raising money to make a large balloon payment on the ranch or she will be forced to sell. She also learns that Mack, her boyfriend of many of her teenage years and the love of her life, is now divorced and as handsome as ever. He’s also been enlisted to help save the ranch and the two work closely together to plan several events. But will her love for Mack be enough for her to stay in Colorado and give up everything she’s worked for in New York? I always enjoy a Hallmark romance, and this book is no exception. I’m a big fan of second chance romances and I enjoyed the competitive nature and banter between Jocelyn and Mack. I also appreciate books with the story of love between generations of a family and this book has plenty of lovely, sweet moments. I adored that the setting was on a historical ranch and the descriptions of the clothing worn by the volunteers. The character development was very good, and the story kept me engaged throughout. Thank you to Hallmark Publishing for the ARC of this book in exchange for the honest review provided here.

  • A sweet second chance that will fill your heart!!

Mack and Jocelyn ‘s story is so sweet and engaging you will not be able to put it down. What made this one of my favorites is the family theme that runs throughout the story. The Grams were so much fun. I got a kick out of Savage and his antics! It also was so heartwarming to see everyone including Mrs. Krandle (secretly) working so hard for a ranch that means so much to their community. This was a fun story perfect to read to escape the craziness going on in the world.

  • Love on a homestead ranch

I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. A wonderful book with a great description of a ranch and a historical homestead recreation that is in need of some help. A sweet Romance then is in the making, read and find out what happens.

  • Rescuing Harmony Ranch

Rescuing Harmony Ranch by Jennie Marts was a really sweet and fun second-chance romance. Joss and Mack were high school sweethearts, in love and perfect for each other, before Joss’ mom moved them both to the city – far away. When Joss returns to help her grandmother at the ranch, she finds Mack, a lot taller and lot more bearded, working on the ranch, and history floods back. Their second romance was a slow build up. They both had some harsh feelings about the past to overcome, but their love for each other wouldn’t let that stand in the way. Along the way, they get to know each other again, and they remember what brought them together in the first place. Harmony Ranch could be a character on its own. As a historical reenactment location, it lives in the past – before electricity and running water. Jennie Marts has a great way with setting a scene, I wish I could go to the pond, or have a picnic in the yard there. The characters surrounding her were larger than life and had some personalities that jumped off the page, but while they were incredible and memorable, they never outshone our couple. They do make me want to go back to visit and see what the town is up to though. I hope Hallmark revisits this area. It was full of love, life, and charm. **I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book**
